My brother, Andrew, recently shared with me a video he put together about the misconceptions surrounding which are the most important lessons he’s learned from his almost 18 years of training in Hapkido. As he points out in the video, to people outside the martial arts community, the value of martial arts is too often believed to be limited to the physical components such as kicks, punches, throws, joint locks, etc. rather than the far more valuable life skills you learn through training. Enjoy!
