What is a Pressure Point?
A pressure point is a vulnerable spot on the human body. In most cases, it is a nerve ending that is not protected by muscle or bone. Pressure points serve as excellent balance breaks and serve as a way to enhance your techniques. However, not everyone has every pressure point, so pressure points are not usually used as techniques all on their own. Although the human body has a vast number of pressure points, not all of them are practical for self-defense application.
